Update on Cooley Flood Damage Relief Measure – McGreehan

Senator Erin McGreehan has received an update from Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, Charlie McConalogue’, T.D’s Office regarding the Cooley Flood Damage Relief Measure.

  • The Cooley Flood Damage Relief Scheme was introduced to provide targeted support to
    farmers in the Cooley Peninsula who have been negatively impacted by the adverse weather
    during the period October – November 2023.
  • The closing date for applications under the scheme was 31st July at which time 72 applications were received.
  • Officials from the Department are currently reviewing each application. Immediately all the
    administrative reviews are complete, payments will commence issuing to cleared cases.
