Storm Éowyn Red Warning Update

During the Red Level wind warnings, the public is advised not to travel and to shelter in place. 

In the period after the Red Level warning and during Orange Level warnings, the public should still limit travel and shelter in place as much as possible. 

Impacts include danger to life, extremely dangerous travelling conditions, unsafe working conditions, disruption and cancellations to transport, many fallen trees, significant and widespread power outages, impacts to communications networks, cancellation of events, structural damage. 

⚠️ Stay at home and avoid travel.

⚠️ Secure any loose items outside.

An Post:

⚠️ All social welfare benefit payments usually payable at the Post Office on Friday will be available on Saturday and next week.

⚠️ Post Offices will remain closed for the duration of the red warnings but will seek to reopen once it is safe to do so and conditions allow.

⚠️ Cooley Yard will be the centraliation for the distribution of sand bags for the Cooley Peninsula
