McGreehan asks for update from Minister on vacancies within Louth Children’s Disability Network Teams

Louth TD Erin McGreehan has contacted the Minister for Disability asking what actions are planned to address the critical positions currently vacant on Children’s Disability Network Teams (CDNTs) in Louth.

There are currently over 32 vacancies on CDNTs across North and South Louth.

Deputy McGreehan said: “I have obtained information from the HSE regarding staff and vacancies among staff for CDNTs in Louth.

“Across North and South Louth, there are over 32 vacancies for these positions.

“These CDNT positions are absolutely crucial to provide specialised support and services for children who have a disability and complex health needs associated with their disability.

“I have written to my party colleague, the Minister for Disability Norma Foley, asking for what action plan is in place fromt he Department to fill these critically needed positions.”
