Have Your Say – Louth County Development Plan

Louth County Council is reviewing the current plan (2021–2027) and preparing a new one for 2027–2033.

Public consultation is open from Tuesday 23rd September to 4.00pm on Friday 21st November 2025 both dates inclusive)

Public consultation meetings dates – Louth Libraries:

  • Dunleer: Tuesday 21 October, 6–8pm
  • Dundalk: Wednesday 22 October, 5–7:30pm
  • Drogheda: Wednesday 5 November, 5–7:30pm
  • Ardee: Thursday 6 November, 5–7:30pm

Making a Submission:

Include your name and address.

Submit online at consult.louthcoco.ie or by post to Development Plan Review, Town Hall, Crowe Street, Dundalk, Co. Louth A91 W20C.

Clearly mark as “Development Plan Review”.

Late submissions won’t be accepted.

All valid submissions will be considered before the draft plan is prepared.

Please note: Requests or proposals for the zoning of particular land, for any purpose, cannot be considered at this Pre-Draft stage of the County Development Plan. These matters will be considered during the Draft Plan stage of the overall process.
