“There should be more mammies in the Dail”, newly elected Erin McGreehan TD says after she wins a seat in Louth.

The Cooley-based Senator won a Fianna Fáil seat back in Louth.

The mother-of-four told the Dundalk Democrat there should be more “mammies in the Dáil” as that is what “puts fire in her belly” to fight for healthcare and disability rights.

McGreehan said: “I am beyond words, it is just such an important day for me and my family. I want to thank everybody.”
